How to pass out the Word with very little time....

As the old saying goes, "Work smarter, not harder." In some ways, this quest to give away Bibles has been following that pathway as of late. At this phase of my life, I'm working a lot of hours so I don't have much free time. However, let's face it. God always needs to come first, and at the end of my life, it's not going to matter how much money I made or didn't make, etc. As of late, I'm been passing out Bibles going to and from work, sometimes leaving for work a little early to see what opportunities open to me en route. It's been effective, it seems. There have been some days I've passed out 3-4 Bibles while going to coming from work. Giving Bibles to a few policemen doing speed patrol (since I drive slow, they don't clock me), given other Bibles at drive-thru restaurants, then at times given away Bibles at sit-down restaurants along with a time. I make sure I leave a good tip with a Bible. I recall once when I was a waiter about 20 years ago some well-intentioned believer gave what appeared to be a $20 bill as a tip. I was really happy when I saw what I thought was that $20. Well, when I picked it up, my joy turned to mourning, as I read a message that went something like this: I know you wanted $20, but here is something more valuable than $20. Come to Jesus." My reaction was, "You gotta be kidding me." FYI, never do that to a waiter or waitress. When you live off tips, that's not how to tell people about Jesus. Trust me. Well, more next time, well into my second case of outreach Bibles, with each case holding 24 Bibles. Perhaps I'm at 30 right now! Thank you, Jesus. Until next time....
