Beautiful scene but there's something so much better

This is a beautiful picture of New Orleans at sunset. For some, it's a sight they dream to experience. It reminds me of those scenes in Hallmark Movie channel movies that some people cannot get enough of. Those movies show perfect people with perfect jobs and perfect partners in perfect circumstances with perfect homes and perfect children, etc, you get the picture. The truth is life is no Hallmark Movie Channel production. This life can be so very, very hard. However, when I read the Bible, I read of a place someday that God's people will see that is far, far better than any Hallmark Movie channel Movie. In Revelation Chapter 21, it speaks of the eternal home of God's people. "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them." It's a place where there will be no more pain. No more mourning, tears, and God Himself shall wipe away our tears. Why am I writing this? Because heaven is a reality but Hallmark Movie is a fantasy. Having a hard holiday season because your life is troubled? Run hard after God. He has a beautiful plan for your life if you let Him.
